Anila Sajja Claps Back at Toya Bush-Harris' Comments About Her Finances

Toya Bush-Harris and Anila Sajja started off this season of Married to Medicine as the best of friends as the longtime cast member introduced the newcomer to her social circle. However, things have gotten a little tense between the ladies on the show as of late.

It all started when Toya called Anila out for not paying the makeup artist she had referred her to right away during the trip to Washington, D.C. Anila said that she would pay the glam team and later confirmed on Twitter that she did do so. She also wondered why Toya would put her on blast like that. "If I’m your friend why wouldn’t you talk to me in private," Anila tweeted on April 26.

Toya brought up the situation with the makeup artist again with Anila in the May 2 episode of Married to Medicine and expressed further concern for her friend's financial situation. "I don't know if you're handling things the way you need to be handling them," Toya told Anila in the car after they dropped their kids off at school.

Anila has been open about the major expense of building a home this season, and she assured Toya that she had things under control. However, Toya shared in an interview during the episode, "I don't think Anila is taking her finances very seriously."

Anila appeared to have a message for anyone doubting her financial situation in a post on Instagram on May 2. "First day of school: I aced Accounting 101 biggest lesson," she wrote alongside a selfie. "I paid my bills!"

This won't be the last time Toya and Anila discuss money matters, and according to the preview of the next episode of Married to Medicine, it looks like things will get pretty heated between them at a get-together with the ladies.
