Kyle Richards and Andy Cohen Share New Info About Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton
The RHOBH cast member and the WWHL host open up about the famous family.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans have been following the life of Kyle Richards since Season 1. Back then, her sister, Kim Richards, was also a cast member on the show. Kim has since exited the franchise, but for Season 11, Kyle was joined by her big sister, Kathy Hilton, who joins the shows as a friend after having made cameos in the past. Kathy has definitely offered up some comic relief to the drama of life on RHOBH.
Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday (June 9) and was asked a number of queries about having her sisters on the show, including who she thinks was more comfortable sharing her life, who she thinks was a better fit with the group, and who she believes enjoyed stirring the pot more, among other hot topics. But that wasn't the only tea being spilled about Kyle and her family. During the WWHL episode, Andy Cohen revealed a bit of trivia about RHOBH after WWHL guest Paul Scheer noted, "I just want a spin-off [of Kathy] just watching her check her messages on her phone. I'm all in."
Andy revealed that it's "funny that you say that, because the The [Real] Housewives of Beverly Hills almost didn't happen. It was almost a show around Kim, Kathy and Kyle," he explained. Both Andy and Kyle have spoken a bit about the show's history in the past.
Andy shared more about his feelings about Kathy as an addition to the RHOBH crew on WWHL last month. He said, "This season is super dramatic, but it is also so funny due in large part to one Kathy Hilton, who is a trip that I don't think any of us expected. I thought that Kim Richards was the motherlode of kind of lunacy, but Kathy is her own vibe, man. Kyle, I didn't expect it."
Looking for more scoop on the Richards-Hilton sisters? Well. Kathy recently sat down for an interview with The Daily Dish podcast. During the June 10 episode, she offered up an update on how Kim is doing these days. "She is great. She is really good," Kathy said. "I talk to her all the time."
