Where Do Things Stand Between Andy Cohen and Carole Radziwill After That "Full of Sh--" Remark?
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host opens up about his friendship with the RHONY alum.
Usually, the drama is reserved for the Housewives at reunions. But things seemed to get a little heated for the host with the most, Andy Cohen, at The Real Housewives of New York City Season 10 reunion. Not only did Andy drop an F-bomb during the commotion over the nutcracker situation, but Carole Radziwill also said that he was "so full of sh--" after he said that she and Bethenny Frankel "bashed each other" this season of RHONY.
Andy explained his part in the RHONY reunion drama when he appeared on Bravo's Play by Play on Monday night. "I get really frustrated, and they showed me get frustrated. I hate when texts start coming out. It never winds up proving anything," he said. "I was a little short a few times."
He went on to say that he now regrets "yelling at Carole and Dorinda [Medley]" during the reunion. Andy explained that he did so because the conversation had been going on for some time without reaching any real resolution.
As for Carole saying that he was "so full of sh--," well, Andy thought it reminded him of a certain president. "I thought it was very Trumpian of her, and I was very surprised by that because what show is she watching? All I was doing was pointing out, yeah, you both have been talking sh-- about each other. I wasn't saying anyone was talking more sh-- or not," he said. "You know that we're gonna show the receipts. We have the receipts, we're going to show them, so don't deny that you never said anything bad about this person, 'cause you both were talking sh-- about each other."
When Carole caught wind of Andy's comparison, she didn't take too kindly to it, as one might expect, considering her thoughts on the 2016 presidential election, as we saw in Season 9 of RHONY. She tweeted Monday that she stood by calling Andy "so full of sh--" and said that she thought the reunion host was actually acting more "Trumpian." "Created a false equivalent," she tweeted. "He said we both bashed each other 'all season.' Look at the clips. I was in the same outfit a black top. [Because] it was all the last episodes in interviews taped 2 weeks before the reunion."
But don't worry; Andy and Carole's friendship has survived this season's RHONY reunion. “She had a great run on the show, and what a cool journey for her,” Andy told Page Six on the red carpet of the Tribeca TV Festival's Tribeca Talks: Ten Years with The Real Housewives of New York City at Spring Studios in Manhattan on Sunday, September 23, adding that he and Carole have been in touch since the reunion. “I knew her before [the show] for many years and it was fascinating watching her grow."
