This Is the Worst Part About Being Andy Cohen's Assistant
Andy's assistant, Daryn Carp, is spilling the tea about her coveted job.
For most Bravo fans, working for Andy Cohen seems like a dream job. His staffers at Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen have said he's a great boss and his assistant Daryn Carp sings his praises. But like any job, even this one has its downsides.
During an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, Daryn admitted people treat her differently once they find out who she works for and it's not always for the best.
"Before I dated my girlfriend, it was hard meeting girls sometimes, because once [they] find out what I do, I couldn't tell if they just wanted the access ... or genuinely just, like, liked me and thought I was great," said Daryn. "It's not like I'm some celebrity or whatever but I have access to all of that."
Daryn said she also questions people's motives outside of the dating world. "Definitely when I meet people in the industry and they want to get drinks or they push me for it, it takes maybe like 20 seconds from them to ask me for [WWHL] tickets, and I get it. It's a really hard ticket to get."
All in all, if working for Andy means sometimes having people bother you for WWHL tickets, we'd say it's a fair trade.
