Amber Marchese Says She Won't Return to Real Housewives of New Jersey
"We officially decided to move on," Amber says in a statement.
Amber Marchese says she will not return to Real Housewives of New Jersey after joining the show in Season 6. Amber confirmed the news to People, noting that it was a decision she made with her husband, Jim, and that she will now focus on other endeavors.
"Jim and I have been giving Real Housewives of New Jersey a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on," she said of her one-season stint on the series.
Andy Cohen has since responded to the exit on Twitter.
Amber has been battling breast cancer, and in September shared with fans that she had likely had her last surgery in her fight against the disease. "I want to thank you all for your support, encouragement, love, or any kind gesture that you have given me," she wrote in her Facebook post at the time. "I have nothing but gratitude and love for all your kindness. It has been a rough road for me, but you guys really helped me through this."
