All About LuAnn's New Clothing Line
The RHONY star reunites with Heather and Carole at exclusive NYC party.

After debuting her line the Countess LuAnn collection earlier this year, LuAnn de Lesseps is back with a second line, the Fall and Holiday collection, which will be available on ShopHQ starting this weekend. On Wednesday, she debuted some of the looks at a cocktail reception at New York's Top of the Strand, which was attended by fellow Housewives Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Heather Thomson, and Carole Radziwill.
So what type of items has the Countess cooked up this time? "It's classic," she tells the Dish. "It's inspired by the things I love to wear. I make pieces I would wear for myself, for everyday women."
There are pieces for every taste, from elegant capes to zippered pants to rock & roll-style leather jackets. "I wear a lot of classic lengths and styles," she says. "I love the cape and I feel that it's timeless and never out of style. And the zippered pant is on-trend for fall. Then there are the prints—those are fun and trendy. I like classic but trendy at the same time—and sophisticated!"
Her cape may be one of her favorite pieces. "Anybody can wear one," she says. "A cape looks good over a dress, or pants. it's hard not to wear a cape and not look cool."
The Countess' fans may recognize one piece in particular: the metallic, one-shoulder dress she wore at last season's Real Housewives of New York reunion. "I put it into the collection because everyone told me how much they love it," she says. 'It's very holiday. And I love the one-shoulder look."
While the Countess was certainly proud to debut her first line earlier this year, she's happily surprised that it's been such a success. "It felt really good," she says. "To know that women like the things you design and that they want to wear your styles? It's such a compliment."
And she is showing no signs of slowing down. She reveals that she's already working on a Cruise collection, plus branching out in accessories and perfume.
