All About Katrina Hodgson's Romantic Engagement

Time to break out the tissues. On tonight's new episode of Toned Up, we see Katrina Hodgsonand Brian Leckrone celebrating their engagement with family and friends.

But what happened when Brian actually popped the questions to his bride-to-be? Katrina tells the Dish that her groom proposed in front of her family during a visit to their lake house. "It meant so much to me and my family," she says.

And although the day was a long time coming, Katrina and her family were completely caught off guard. "Brian, of course, asked my father for my hand in marriage so far in advance that this moment was a surprise to all of us!"

While the family was relaxing and drinking wine, "Brian decided he was going to go jump in the lake," Katrina says. "He took the plunge and 'found' a ring at the bottom of the lake." Katrina adds that she was so "overwhelmed with happiness and joy" that she said yes, before Brian was able to reveal the canary diamond ring. "He proposed with the kindest words, he's my best friend and the love of my life."

Fortunately for the couple, Katrina's brother Stephen was there with his camera in hand to capture the proposal. Her parents "were thrilled," said Katrina, "It meant so much to them to be part of it." Watch below.

"It was one of those moments in life that everything moves in slow motion," she says, "and­ nothing else exists in the world."
