Alexis Bellino Fires Back at "Jesus Jugs" Comment
"She really shouldn't use religion to make nasty remarks," says A.
Alexis Bellino is still reeling from this season's Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, with one barb in particular packing a profound punch. "She really shouldn't use the Lord's name that way," the Orange County Housewife tells Wetpaint about Tamra Barney's "Jesus Jugs" comment. "It's blasphemy. And now she's taking it to a whole new level by selling wine glasses on her website with ‘Jesus Jugs' on them to make a profit. She really shouldn't use religion to make nasty remarks about me or take the Lord's name in vain."
However, the mom of three Bellinos (hoping to make it four!) is looking to divine intervention to turn a bumpy at best season into a positive experience. "I'm now doing a lot of speaking on bullying, which I feel great about. God put me in the place I am for a reason. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I'm a lot stronger today than I was at the start of Season 7. So I guess, in a way, I'm thankful."
Stronger and thankful? Yes. Ready to take on Tamra, Gretchen Rossi and Heather Dubrow again? Not so fast. "The truth is, I don't know if I'm cut out for this anymore," the Missouri girl confesses. "I've been called phony, fake, mean, and hateful… I don't know if I'm cut out for such a hateful environment."
Alexis keeps the offensive going in her blog this week, declaring: "While we are on the topic of Tamra, I have to say: I can take all of her abuse towards me, and even towards my husband, but her abuse towards God is unacceptable. I have never heard someone talk the way she talks. She has no shame. Jesus Barbie was cute, but almost crossing the line -- I can take it in stride. Yet Jesus Jugs doesn't just cross the line, it catapults over it. That comment has offended Christians everywhere." Read the full post here.
