The experienced chief stew touched on the topic in her updated profile for BravoTV.com. The page featured key details about Aesha’s background as well as a series of questions about her yachting career. One of the questions focused on Aesha's work-life balance, and how she spends her “off time” during the charter season.
“I’m usually so busy going over orders or preferences for the next charter guests,” she said before referencing her boyfriend, Scott “Scotty” Dobson. “I try to send a message to Scott or nap if I can. Even 10 minutes of closed eyes is a dream.”

Aesha, who will take on the chief stew role in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, began dating Scott several years ago after her breakup with fellow yachty Jack Stirrup. She spoke about the romance during Below Deck Down Under Season 1, confirming she and Scott had known each other since they were teenagers.
“We actually went to high school together. Scott was this super athletic hottie,” Aesha shared in an episode interview. “Then fast-forward 10 years, he saw that I was spending a lot of time in the States, and so he reached out. And it was just, like, fireworks. He’s just such a good man.”

Since then, Aesha and Scott have taken huge steps in their relationship, most notably purchasing a New Zealand home together. The chief stew announced the big move back in March, saying it was a happy ending to a long and difficult journey.
“After five months of offers and hopes going up and then down, having been conditional three times, and still living out of suitcases on the floor we have finally gone unconditional on a place we both ADORE!!!!!!” she wrote in a March 7 Instagram, which included photos of her and her beau holding a “sold” sign. “We both felt at home the moment we walked in the door!!! Low-key, open, light, wooden floors, big deck, very happy. Feeling chuffed all of our hard work and savings have given us a place to call home.”
Does Aesha Scott plan to retire from yachting?
Although news of the purchase was met with congratulatory messages, some fans wondered if it signaled Aesha’s exit from the yachting industry. The New Zealand native reassured her followers that wouldn’t be the case.
“Definitely not,” she wrote in the comments. “I will keep yachting as long as I can.”
