Aesha Scott has officially celebrated her first Christmas in her New Zealand house that she shares with her fiancé, Scott "Scotty" Dobson. The Below Deck Mediterranean chief steward once hinted at a hectic holiday season and it finally came to fruition on Wednesday morning.

The New Zealand native took to her Instagram Story on Dec. 25, where she showed off all of the super fun chaos ensuing in her home. She was able to capture all of her family members, her fiancé, and her friends, wearing festive headbands and short sleeved shirts (because it is summer in New Zealand), sitting around, and opening presents.

"First Christmas in our home," she captioned the sweet photo.

It's safe to say that she was very happy to celebrate on a day filled with laughs and presents, like the butter dish that was on her wishlist. "I asked for a butter dish!" she explained.

She even documented one family member receiving a "lump of coal" as a present. "A whole day of laughs and happiness, my cup is so full," she also noted at the end of the snapshot.

Aesha then proceeded to show off photos from her family's feast and her own festive outfit, complete with reindeer ears and an Elf on the Shelf in her hands. But this holiday wasn't just about the fun — she revealed that she got very sentimental after "looking at her nieces."

Aesha Scott's unique Christmas tradition

After opening up gifts, Aesha and her family then proceeded to partake in the "Christmas Olympics" involving different competitive games played throughout the day. She showed off how bad she was at the first game — scooping cotton balls onto a plate with a spatula while blindfolded. "Snowball collecting!" she wrote of the game.

"Bloody terrible," she noted of her own performance.

They then had to pop balloons tied around each other's ankles until one final person remained, collect red cups from the ground, reel in a shot of water using a roll of toilet paper, and blow out lit tea candles with a single breath. "Very bloody intense," Aesha stated of the games.

What's next for Aesha Scott in 2025?

It's safe to say that this yachtie will be very busy in the new year. Aesha has been continuing to work hard on her alcoholic coconut water brand, Drop, as well as her running own merch line featuring some of her most popular sayings. But she also has a wedding to plan in the new year.

Aesha revealed on Instagram this past October that she hopes to get married to Scotty in "early 2026." She further explained her future wedding plans in a May 29 interview with The Daily Dish

"We want to do it in the New Zealand summer, which is obviously over the Christmastime," she said. "We don't want to do it this summer. We want to do it next summer. We want to enjoy this phase, and we also wanted to wait long enough that all of our American friends and family have enough time to save and to really turn it into a big holiday."
