Broad City's Abbi Jacobson Reveals Which A-Lister Turned Down a Cameo
This famous actress opted out of appearing on the show, the funny lady shared on #WWHL.
Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer have been hosts to many a superstar during the course of Broad City's run. Among the recognizable faces who have appeared on their show are Kelly Ripa, Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Susie Essman, Patricia Clarkson, Alia Shawkat, Seth Rogen, Rachel Dratch, and, of course, Hillary Clinton.
But as Abbi shared on Watch What Happens Live Thursday night, there was one celebrity who turned down the chance to appear on the small screen alongside the two funny ladies.
"Dame Judi Dench. I don't think she really was like had even a phone call and was like, 'You know what? No.' I think just her reps. I think she lives, you know, in England. Or maybe not England, I don't know exactly where she lives," she said. "But I don't think she wanted to come over for the show."
While the cameo didn't pan out, Abbi had high hopes for it. "Wouldn't that have been great?" she asked.
Yes, Abbi, it would have.
