Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Has Marriage Annulled After 2 Weeks: "I Had To"
Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi just eloped with her ex last month.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi and Dennis DeSantis tied the knot in November 2024 — however, their marriage has since been annulled.
The Shahs of Sunset cast member made the announcement on the Dec. 11 episode of Radio Andy's Jeff Lewis Live. As she put it, "I'm no longer married."
Host Jeff Lewis then questioned if GG and Dennis' marriage was "one of those situations where you kind of have to get married to get divorced," but she insisted that wasn't the case. More specifically, she said, "Oh, I would never want to be married to Dennis."
How long was GG Gharachedaghi married to Dennis DeSantis?
GG declared that she and Dennis were only married for "a week and a half."
"In the great state of Nevada, you can fucking annul it at any time," she added.
Why did GG Gharachedaghi marry Dennis DeSantis?
GG revealed that she got married to Dennis to provide some clarity on the relationship and prove to herself she was in love with a mysterious man named "BJ."
"I had to do what I had to do in order to accomplish the end result," she said. "I think it was one of those things where I needed to get burned in order to realize I was just heartbroken and very much in love with BJ."
As for Dennis' role in the marriage, GG noted, "I don't think he thought I was in love."
"He knows I don't do the whole falling in love thing very much," she added, "but I think that he's been wanting to get back with me probably for all these years according to everyone who knows us and sees us together."
When did GG Gharachedaghi marry Dennis?
GG announced on November 12, 2024 that she and Dennis had recently tied the knot in the "wedding capital of the world" — Clark County, Nevada — after knowing each other for 11 years. The former couple wore casual outfits for their wedding, as GG opted for a pair of ripped jeans and a sweatshirt, while Dennis wore a matching sweatsuit.
GG documented all of this in a now-deleted Reel, posted to her Instagram account, taking a video of the matching "555" tattoos that they got on their wrists after getting married. "Only took us 11 years...God's plan," she wrote in the caption of the now-deleted post.
"Was worth the 11 years to spend the rest of our lives together," Dennis wrote in the comments at the time.
