6 Times Joseph Gordon-Levitt Made Us Fall In Love with Him on 'The Mindy Project'
Bravo's sexiest (fictional) producer has us feeling all the feels.
Warning: This post contains spoilers!
We're still swooning. During The Mindy Project Season 4 premiere, Mindy Kaling's fictional alter-ego, Dr. Mindy Lahiri, imagined a world where she wasn't in love with the gruff Dr. Danny Castellano. In an episode based on the Gwyneth Paltrow's 1998 rom-com Sliding Doors, Mindy, instead, is married to a Bravo executive, played by Joseph Gordon- Levitt. Yeah, we know, life goals. "My life would be so much better if I had just fallen in love with someone else," Mindy shares before falling asleep and waking up in a dream world where she inhabits a fancy Gramercy Park apartment with JGL's Matt Sherman, a producer on the Real Housewives franchise. Meanwhile, IRL, Danny heads to India to proclaim his love for his pregnant girlfriend to her parents. Yes, JGL always been easy on the eyes, but his Mindy persona solidifies his place on our list as the most adorable hunk in Hollywood. Here are six times we fell in love with him during the show's debut.
1. He seeks life advice from Andy when he's in distress.
"Do I know Andy Cohen? Yeah, that guy's like my best friend. I tell him all my girl problems," he reveals upon meeting Mindy for the first time. How. Cute. Is. That. Now, how do we become Matt's girl problems?
2. His pad is ah-maz-ing.
Or, as Mindy points out, it looks like a "sopa opera set." Really, it's the kind of place that even Lisa Vanderpump might feel a little envious of with its fancy, white decor and all those Emmys on the wall. And, one we wouldn't mind moving into with Matt.
3. He's kind of a Kroy.
Turns out that in this dream world, Matt is pitching a reality show focused on his marriage with Mindy. (Sounds a bit like Don't Be Tardy.) BTW, if Mindy isn't feeling up for the attention, we can be camera ready on very short notice.
4. He's supportive.
Of even Mindy's wackiest endeavors, like her line of girdles for the sexually-active obese, or her dream to have a South Park pinball machine in their house.
5. He has awesome taste in jewelry.
Sure this is very superficial, but dude knows how to pick out engagement bling, especially when threatened by Mindy to make sure it is very nice. Cue all the screams at that rock!
6. Last, but not least, he has that face...
...that makes us feel like this.
