Family Matters
Episode 6: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor counts down the top three "Really?!" moments.
I don't know about you, but going into business with family members just seems like a bad idea. You know you're not going to be able to truly crack the whip when need be, and that's exactly what Bridgette's problem was. Her mother never said no to her, and Bridgette didn't say no to her daughter, Chelsea (or the rest of the staff for that matter). It took a dose of Tabatha toughness to get this team back on track, but not without some troubling moments along the way.
Really?! Moment No. 3 - Nap Time
Since Bridgette doesn't enforce any of her rules (well, all two of them -- no cell phones and be on time), why wouldn't her employees take advantage of her? One of the more egregious offenses being Jason's personal nap space. This just brings the phrase "lying down on the job" to a whole new level.
Really?! Moment No. 2 - A Hairy Situation
Bridgette's mom may have been cleaning the salon for free, but you certainly get what you paid for. Bridgette's carpet was covered in hair due to Chelsea's "forgetfulness" when it comes to vacuuming. But that wasn't the only hairy area. Even the salon's business cards were covered in hair. Bleh! I thought you went into a salon to leave with less hair, not more.
Really?! Moment No. 1 - Take It Like a Man
Tabatha really let Jason have it when she inspected his work station. I mean, that hairy rag at the bottom of the drawer was gross (again, there is hair everywhere in this salon), but Tabatha really took him to task when he tried to be coy and boyish about it. Watching Tabatha yell at him to man up was, well, difficult. But hey, in the end he did get his act together so I suppose it was worth the pain and humiliation.
