Madison LeCroy Defends Her Engagement Overshadowing the Birthday Party with Venita
The Southern Charm-er addressed how she really felt about the joint birthday bash on WWHL.
When Madison LeCroy and Venita Aspen threw a joint birthday garden party during the July 14 episode of Southern Charm, it didn’t take long for attention to shift to Madison’s recent engagement to her boyfriend, Brett. During their latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, both Madison and Venita opened up about whether they felt the engagement overshadowed their double birthday bash.
As viewers saw during the Season 8 episode, talk of Madison’s engagement dominated the early hours of the party — much to Venita’s chagrin. “I wasn’t thrilled that people were celebrating her engagement the entire time,” Venita admitted during the July 14 episode of WWHL.
When asked whether she felt things became too much about her engagement when the event was meant to be a joint birthday celebration, Madison was quick to defend herself. “It’s not my fault. Blame it on the ring,” she stated in response, flashing a look at her beautiful sparkler.
