Landon: There's No Place Like Home
Landon opens up about her relationship with her mother and the biggest lesson she learned this season.
Bravotv.com: It was very emotional watching you discuss your life and your choices with your mother. Do you feel like she has finally come to an understanding about your decisions or do you think your relationship is more of a work in progress?
Landon Clements: My mother and I have definitely come to an understanding. I feel a lot of it was my fault for not being more honest with her from the beginning. I was unhappy in my marriage for a long time and just tried to put on a brave face. By the time I told her I was getting divorced she thought that I should try harder to make the the marriage last, but it was already so far gone I just needed to move on. I think more than anything she just didn't want to see me fail at love. We are now both on the same page and I'm really happy about getting on with my life.
Bravotv.com: Did you have any interaction with Kathryn at the Wounded Warrior Project's benefit?
LC: No, I didn't want to have anything to do with her at that point. I don't have petty fights, especially in public and she was the one who needed to make amends not me.
Bravotv.com: What's the biggest lesson you learned this season?
LC: That there is no place like home and with a little help from friends and family you really can survive anything.
Bravotv.com: Do you have any regrets about this season?
LC: I don't really have any regrets about this season. The whole experience was so much fun and I really learned a lot about myself and where I want to be in the future. I just hope that we get to do anther season so we can continue to show off this beautiful city and all of the wonderful people who call it home.
