Kathryn Dennis Shared Her First Swimsuit Photo in 3 Years Because "Who the F Cares"
The Southern Charm fashionista opened up about what she realized about body image.
Kathryn Dennis dresses for herself and no one else. The Southern Charm fashion plate is all about statement pieces, from cheeky embellished denim jackets to neon jumpsuits. Her fashion philosophy is essentially "unbasic," and now this style queen is breaking down how she puts together her outfits with Page Six.
"If I was not a girl, I'd be a drag queen," she jokes in the Page Six video. "I'm coming into my own and I'm no longer in someone's shadow and I'm really trying to express myself visually."
From a Kardashian-esque liquid latex dress in what Kathryn called "Pepto-Bismom" pink to bracelets she found on Amazon, Kathryn explains her "80% low, 20% high" style. But she also opens up about that very sexy swimsuit snap she just posted on Instagram, and the empowering reason she decided to share it.
"This is probably my first bathing suit photo in I don't even know, three years. Probably before Saint was born," Kathryn says in the video, adding: "I was trying to look like a little 19-year-old Instagram model. Just kidding, but not really. Honestly I haven't been comfortable showing off my assets, my curves, all of these new things that have happened to my body, in a really long time, and I just decided one day, who in the F cares."
