You're Not Going to Believe What Happy McCullough Was Most Nervous About at Her Bridal Shower

Happy McCullough may have just tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Azam Mughal, but we got to see the start of her wedding fun during her first bridal shower featured in the most recent episode of Southern Charm Savannah. "Bridal showers, I think, are pretty big in the South. You usually have three or four. This one was really fun, my bridesmaids threw it for me, so it was kind of a younger vibe. It was just super fun for us to get together," Happy told Bravotv.com of the fête prior to the episode airing. "It was a fun, low-key time." 

Savannah Charmers Ashley Borders, Catherine Cooper, and Hannah Pearson attended the bridal shower, along with the rest of Happy's loved ones. Happy told Bravotv.com that she anticipated Ashley's slightly "risqué" black romper to cause a bit of a stir, which it surely did among the ladies.

But Happy was also worried about making waves herself during one of the shower's main events: the gift opening. "I get nervous opening presents around people. My facial reaction, sometimes I can’t really control very well," Happy shared. "So I don’t know what I’m going to look like, and I don’t want to ever offend anybody."

Luckily, it seemed like that room was filled with pure joy as Happy opened presents during her bridal shower. Looking back on the day, Happy said that she was most excited for Southern Charm Savannah fans to get to know her mother and grandmother, whom she considers to be "the quintessential Southern lady," a little bit better. "She’s just so amazing and incredible, and you lay eyes on her and you’re instantly in awe," Happy gushed. "And I think it’ll be nice to see where I came from and what I’m all about because both of them are so important to me."
