Would Reza Farahan Try the Dubrow Diet?
Would the Shahs of Sunset fitness buff go for a cross-Bravo collab to try the buzzy new Dubrow Diet?
Shahs of Sunset pal Reza Farahan lost 40 pounds last year after embracing a a strict diet and fitness regimen, including loyalty to an eating plan developed in consultation with a nutritionist. Yes — he has his moments of over-the-top indulgence when the occasion calls for it. (Don't we all?) These days, he's still looking amazing — notwithstanding those periodic dalliances.
Meanwhile, his colleagues in the Bravo-sphere are out with a brand new diet of their own: The Dubrow Diet, the hotly anticipated book co-written by Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow, is currently flying off shelves and burning up Amazon's best-seller list. So is it something diet-minded Reza might be willing to try?
The Feast asked him that very question at the West Hollywood launch party for Evine — the only shopping network with an L.A. presence, so it's a natural match for stars looking to sell their wares. (It's already attracting tons of Bravo celebrities — including Reza himself, who is launching his haircare line, Reza Be Obsessed, with the the retailer.) And you better believe the Shahs were out in force to represent.
"My entire cast has gotten my products," he told us. "I haven’t started spreading them around [more widely] yet— I wanted to wait to launch on Evine. But as soon as we premiere, the floodgates are open and I’m sending them out to everybody."
As for the Dubrows' latest project, Reza hasn't given it a go... yet. "But I’m happy for free products any day," he told us. So if the Dubrows want to holler at Reza... he's listening.
"If anybody wants to give me some [of their products] I’m happy to try," he said, "But a b---- just lost 40 pounds — so I don’t know if I need their diet or not."
Touche. But would he be open to it at least? "100 percent. Listen. Hello. He’s a doctor. So if he has some information, bring it!"
