The Daily Dish Shahs of Sunset

Shahs' Shervin Roohparvar Unveils His New Restaurant — and Clarifies His Business Ventures

It's just the beginning of the Shahs of Sunset pal's food empire.

By Tamara Palmer

Shervin Roohparvar has been a successful entrepreneur in the retail, tech, and nightlife industries — and lately, the Shahs of Sunset pal has been turning his focus to the dining world. He's been working on the new find-dining restaurant Vine & Spoon in Seattle; it's in soft-opening mode now, and Shervin told The Feast that he hopes to see a grand opening date within the next month.

Vine & Spoon is the perfect addition to Shervin's collection of businesses in Seattle's West Junction, which also includes a cocktail bar called Alchemy, a nightclub called Aston Manor, and a speakeasy called By the Pound. (As well, he plans to open a clothing boutique called Estate soon.)

Though it hasn't been open long, the Tomahawk steak is already an early favorite of Shervin's on the Vine & Spoon menu, which changes weekly but keeps that dish as a mainstay. It's a whopping 32-ouncer from Creekstone Farms that's been dry aged for 48 days — and Shervin told The Feast that's the dish to get when you go.

Shervin also told us he's even more up his sleeve in the realm of food and nutrition, but he's not ready to spill all — just yet. "I've got something really cool I'm working on," he teased. We're standing by!
