Here's Why These Happily Married Couples Chose to Tie the Knot on a Bravo Show

From Reza and Adam to Tamra and Eddie, here are eight couples who invited you to their weddings — and were totally chill with you wearing PJs.

By Jenny Berg

Sometimes, the best weddings are those you can attend on your couch, wearing PJ's with a box of tissues on hand. (What can we say? We're sentimental.) Bravo has aired its fill of Bravoleb weddings, ranging from Kim Zolciak-Biermann's  2011 wedding to Kroy Biermann to Mercedes "MJ" Javid's soon-to-be-aired wedding to Tommy Feight. And soon, viewers may even have the chance to watch The Real Housewives of Dallas pal LeeAnne Locken take her walk down the aisle.

How to Watch

Catch up on Shahs of Sunset on the Bravo App.

"I have always said that I would share it with our audience because I feel like I've taken them down the journey of watching me get engaged on camera," LeeAnne told The Daily Dish podcast. "A lot of people were like, 'You planned that!' I'm like, 'Sweetie, that was the one and only time he was ever asked me with a ring was then. I mean, what you saw was the first time that he's ever asked me. That was his real moment and my real moment. And that was our real joy. And I really wanted to share that with our audience. So, yeah, I'm going to share my wedding with our audience.”

Here are eight other couples who are glad they did.

Mercedes 'MJ' Javid and Tommy Feight, Shahs of Sunset

"We had the best day."

After Tommy popped the question in 2016, the Los Angeles lovebirds tied the knot in April. And yes — you'll see the enchanted-forest-themed affair on an upcoming episode of Shahs of Sunset. Speaking about her dreamy day, MJ told Us Weekly of her new hubby: "I cherish him." And of her wedding, she said: "Everything just looked beautiful. We had the best day." Why hide that from cameras? Since becoming man and wife, the couple has been loving married life — and MJ  told E! prior to the wedding: "I want to get healthy not just for the wedding, but also to be able to — God willing — try to get pregnant and chase some babies around a park."

Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann, Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding

"My life has turned into a true Cinderella story.”

After meeting at a Dancing With the Stars event — she liked his butt; he got her number; the rest is history — the Atlanta-based pair got married on Bravo's spinoff show in 2011. At the time, Kim said: "My life has turned into a true Cinderella story, and to watch the pieces unfold is going to be great! I can’t wait to share with all of you!” This fairytale did get a happy ending, too: The couple is still happily married; they have four adorable kids together; and they're still never tardy. (Catch up with Don't be Tardy  here.) Plus, they renewed their vows in 2017.

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Vanderpump Rules

"We’ve lived so much of our life on camera that we would love to film the wedding."

After being introduced by their mutual pal Kristin Doute, the couple hit it off ... but not instantly. After meeting in June, they went on their first date in September. And it was then that the sparks flew. Flash foward to 2016, when they got married on camera by ordained minister Lisa Vanderpump. (The dream!) Leading up to the wedding, Tom said: "We talked about it, and we’ve lived so much of our life on camera that we would love to film the wedding." And we're so glad we have the affair on record! The couple is doing great these days, and Tom is one half of the ownership team behind West Hollywood's hottest new spot: Tom Tom

Ryan Serhant and Emilia Bechrakis, Million Dollar Listing New York

"I’m really glad that we have this little piece of history."

Ryan tends to go big or go home, and the maxim certainly applied to his wedding. When he married his love Emilia — whom he met a Greek menorah lighting! — Ryan turned his big day into a big week in Greece. With cameras, of course. Regarding the filming of Million Dollar Listing New York: Ryan's Wedding, the bride said: "I think I was concerned about the over-exposure, and I’m not really that good with cameras. But in retrospect I’m really glad that we have this little piece of history.” Happily married since 2016, the couple is still traveling the world hand in hand. Just check out their FOMO-inducing photos from South Africa!

Tamra Judge and Eddie Judge, Tamra's OC Wedding

"This is the beginning of the best part of my life."

By the time she married Eddie in 2013, Tamra had been sharing her life with The Real Housewives of Orange County's cameras for some six years. So why stop filming on wht was to date the happiest day of her life? In a statement, Tamra said: "I have never been so in love! This is the beginning of the best part of my life." After the wedding — which featured Heather Dubrow and Vicki Gunvalson as bridesmaids — there would be trials ahead. But, the couple's love has stayed strong as Eddie overcomes his heart condition with Tamra by his side

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, Kandi's Wedding

"I didn't know if I was going to be able to pull this all together."

The Xscape singer met Todd back in 2011, when he was working as a line producer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Soon, though, Todd would move in front of the cameras to film his wedding with Kandi for Kandi's Wedding in 2014. The bash had an African theme inspired by Coming to America, and it had some over-the-top elements that made Kandi admit: "I didn't know if I was going to be able to pull this all together." Thankfully, it went off with a hitch and it was recorded for all of posterity. Speaking of posterity: The couple now shares a sweet two-year-old son, Ace Wells Tucker. And, they have no plans of ever calling off their union.

Reza Farahan and Adam Neely, Shahs of Sunset

"It's going to be as low-key as you can imagine.

Adam and Reza had a long path to the altar. In fact, before their 2015 wedding, Reza had planned to marry Adam in Thailand — but that didn't pan out: "I honestly didn't feel like getting married was the right thing to do [at that point]," Reza said. We had unresolved issues that needed to be addressed." But soon, the pair was standing before an altar — and Bravo cameras — in Palm Springs. "Because I canceled a wedding, when I do get married, it's going to be as low-key as you can imagine," Reza teased Bravo audiences before the wedding aired. It would seem that the gentlemen love married life. Reza later said: "[Adam's] confidence level and comfort level have gone way up, like a mini Stella Got Her Groove Back situation," Reza said. "He's like feeling himself now that he's Adam Farahan." And from the looks of things, both might be daddies soon.

Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles

"They really captured the moment for us."

It wasn't the 400-guest blowout they'd initially planned — and canceled. But longtime lovebirds Josh and Heather eventualy did make it to the altar in 2016, and became man and wife during a mellow ceremony in Aspen. Bravo cameras were there to capture the action, and the groom was glad they were! He later told The Daily Dish: ""I actually just saw the episode last night. First of all, I cried which is very unlike something that I would do when I saw it. I just started tearing up and so did my wife. They really captured the moment for us. I was really happy because the whole world is going to see that. Putting yourself out there on TV, especially in situations where you're canceling a wedding or getting married or getting pregnant or this or that, you want it to be kind of perfect 'cause there's always going to be people out there that are just going to say their opinions." Opinions aside, the couple is still thriving — and had a baby girl in April of 2017.
