Mercedes "MJ" Javid Won't Put Any Curtains in Her New L.A. Home — Here’s Why
There’s a pretty spectacular reason for the Shahs of Sunset pal’s lack of drapes.
Congratulations are in order for newlyweds Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Tommy Feight. The Shahs of Sunset couple has settled into a stunning mid-century style home in L.A. (which you can see in the video above). While the house is fully furnished (and quite fabulously, if we may add), we noticed that there was an essential item missing while MJ showed us around: curtains. However, the real estate pro has a pretty valid reason for skipping out on this home staple.
“You have these amazing unobstructed views of the San Gabriel mountains, which is Tommy and [my] favorite thing to wake up to. And that’s why, as you noticed, there are no curtains,” MJ shared as she gave us a tour of her living room. She removed the majority of curtains from her bedroom as well, in order to enjoy views of the Cali sunrise and sunset. Thankfully, the pair has plenty of privacy in their semi-isolated estate. Heck, with tranquil, mountainous scenery like that, we’d easily skip out on the drapes as well.
