Joey: We Are Superstars!

Welcome back to my blog! I’d like to start off by saying I’m so glad Ashlee had the chance to publically apologize to the town of Freeport in Newsday and on FOX News. This was a great PR opportunity for her to publicly acknowledge how hurtful her comments were to the residents of my town.

This was a hard episode for me to watch. I truly feel for Casey, and the hurt she has carried all of these years is so sad. I know what it feels like to be cheated on, but the huge difference is that Casey has deep-rooted issues that I am trying to understand. I wish she could find a way to understand that a 17-year-old horny boyfriend would have cheated either way, whether it was with Erica or not. He is the douche, not Erica. He was the one who owed it to her to be faithful -- he was the one in the committed relationship. There would have always been another “hot Long Island girl” to tempt him.

I’m glad that I was able to talk to Erica after all these years and get that same issue off my chest. Erica has a huge heart and is working on herself everyday. I get to see that firsthand and sometimes we have to laugh, cry, and work through our mistakes to move forward.  Erica is doing that, and I’m going to give her room to grow.The Hamptons was a great getaway. The bus ride was fun, and thankfully Chanel was there to keep the mood light! She has such a good presence -- a calming one -- and I’m always thankful when she is around.

When Ashlee states "There is no butler -- Dad’s not here!” I think I puked in my mouth. This is the man that’s provided her with her easy life and will be there I.C.E. (in case of emergency). The level of disrespectful, degrading, and demeaning behavior is appalling. Why does he allow that?   She said in last week's episode that she wants an “alpha male” like her dad? That doesn’t say alpha to me... I’m starting to understand why Ashlee can be so disrespectful to others -- I don’t think she’s ever had to be respectful to anyone, not even to her parents! Can I just add that her mom looks like such a cutie?
