Bump Up Your Style
Rosie shares some of her most chic selections.
On tonight’s episode, I helped Akua get back in the dating game. Admittedly, I was a bit surprised by her determination to hook a guy with a babe on the way, but I realized it was a great opportunity to remember that being pregnant does not mean you can’t look and feel great…even sexy!
For some inspiration, I have styled five looks from my Spring 2012 Rosie Pope Maternity collection. Remember, when indulging in spring’s colors make sure to balance pops of colors with neutrals like navy, black, white, and nude. Enjoy!
Date Night
This look embraces one of the hottest trends for spring: a lace overlay. This dress will make you feel fun and flirty, especially when paired with my go-to wedge for the season when I want a shoe with height, comfort, and a great pop of color. You will feel fab and glam, perfect for a night out with your partner or on the prowl!
Jungle Dress with Lace in ivory
Casual
This is the perfect ensemble for heading to the beach or running about town. This look will have you feeling stylish and ready to conquer your day. You never know who you’ll run into!
Paris Sweater in heather and navy stripe
Rosie Basic Linen Short in white
Work
Best place to meet a man! (Rosie Pope Maternity not withstanding.) This is a perfectly polished look for the office that is not as formal as a suit, but stylish enough to get the job done.
Pret Skirt Classic in midnight navy
Weekend
This is a great look for the weekend, especially if you are heading somewhere on the shore. Throw this on over a bikini with a metallic sandal and hit the boardwalk. If Snooki can do it, you can too!
Sierra Tunic in raspberry and ivory
Long Sleeve Draped Neck Cardigan in ivory
Special Occasion
This is a great look for a summer time wedding or special event. Paired with sky high wedges and sparkling accessories, you will certainly be a standout, and not just because you're pregnant. Pass the mocktails!
