We Just Discoved This Connection Between Meghan Markle and Chelsy Davy and IT'S GOOD

Even if you’re not ready for a trivia quiz on Prince Harry and all his famous exes, there’s a good chance you’ll at least recognize Chelsy Davy. The former lawyer was snapped at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s May nuptials having quite the reaction, and was recently spotted at his cousin Princess Eugenie's ceremony, too.


Despite the fact that the two broke up in 2011, Chelsy still reportedly got a call from the red-haired prince before his wedding. And as there’s never a bad time for a deep dive into Meghan Markle and her BFFs (since everyone has had enough of her less-than-charming father and the rest of her relatives), we just realized there’s actually a connection between Harry’s most significant ex and his expecting wife … and it's not royal-related.


Chelsy Davy has been dating (or at least publically kissing) TV producer James Marshall since shortly after the royal wedding. 

However, before James was dating Chelsy, he was married to Elettra Wiedemann (from 2012-2015), who he met at a ball hosted by Mikhail Gorbachev. (Yes, that fact is irrelevant to this story but too bizarre to not include anyway.)

Not only is Elettra the daughter of Isabella Rossellini and Jonathan Wiedemann, and the granddaughter of Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini, she’s also been spotted socializing with Meghan back when the Duchess was still a working actress, and reportedly even contributed to her now-defunct blog, The Tig.

Meghan was reportedly close to both Elettra and her ex-husband so imagine a world in which Meghan decided to pay it forward Princess Eugenie-style and set up her beau's ex with another pal. Good thing Harry is still in contact with Chelsy ... in case things go well with James and she needs to borrow Meghan's recipe for engagement chicken after all.
