Wait, What? LeAnn Rimes Reveals That She First Met Eddie Cibrian as a Young Teen
The singer shared a secret she's kept about her marriage for years.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian thought that they met on the set of Lifetime movie Northern Lights in 2009, back when Eddie was still married to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville. They married two years later on Christmas Eve after Brandi and Eddie, who have two sons, dissolved their nine-year relationship, and the aftermath between the new couple and the ex hasn't always been pretty (Brandi's even been possibly subliminally tweeting lately). Now, though, LeAnn is revealing a long-held secret that perhaps adds a new creep factor to the old narrative: They first met and took a photo together at a fan appreciation event in the '90s.
"Well we don't remember meeting each other," Rimes told Entertainment Tonight. "No, but there is a photo of it, clearly, and it is odd. We both were like, 'Wait, what?' I think he was 23, I was 14 at the time, and he was doing Young and the Restless. He found that right after we had worked together. He was just digging through some photos in his garage and found it."
The young singer and the restless actor eventually found their way back to each other and now are about to celebrate seven years of marriage this Christmas Eve.
