Before Will, Jada Pinkett Smith Dated ... Carlton?!?

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are finally offering a glimpse behind the roots of their relationship! The notoriously private Hollywood couple appear together with daughter Willow Smith (who turns 18 on Halloween) and Jada's mother, Adrienne Pinkett, to debunk more rumors on the latest edition of Jada's show Red Table Talk, in an episode aptly titled "Becoming Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

They drop bombs throughout the show, but perhaps none so wonderful as the fact that Jada once dated Carlton — aka actor Alphonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton alongside Will on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air!

Jada first saw Will when she was 19 years old and went to an audition for Fresh Prince.

"They told me I was too short," Jada said. "But you were there!"

"You were on A Different World," Will replied, referencing the Cosby Show spinoff on which she appeared.

"I actually think I dated Alphonso!" Jada exclaimed.

"You went on a date with Alphonso, yes," Will said, slightly amused.

"You did?" asked Adrienne.

"That's crazy," said Willow, shaking her head.

"I think I went on one date with Alphonso," Jada recalled.

"And he, like, took you on a motorcycle or something," prompted Will.

"I think so," Jada answered. "My memory is — I dated a lot of people."

"Easy," Will said.

"But we went on one date and —"

"Alright, I've had enough of the Red Table!" Will said, pretending to get up.
