The comedian is expecting her first child with chef husband Chris Fischer.

Yup, Amy Schumer seemed to announce her baby news Monday night with a Photoshopped picture of herself as Meghan Markle and her husband, Chris Fischer, as Prince Harry on their Australian tour. Followers were then told to go to the profile of journalist Jessica Yellin, who posted Amy’s notes on recommendations for the upcoming US midterm elections in her Instastories — with the final line reading, “I’m pregnant - Amy Schumer.” (Aside to everyone reading this: Please get out and vote on November 6.)
The pregnancy follows a whirlwind romance and wedding to Chris, a famous chef from Martha’s Vineyard.
The news comes as a surprise to fans, since Amy once told Barbara Walters she wasn’t sure she saw kids in her future.
The comedian is already cracking jokes about this news. In her official confirmation to the Los Angeles Times, she quipped, “Chris and I are thrilled and almost positive he’s the father. I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way.”
