12 of the Prettiest, Most Versatile Bar Carts on the Market

Drinks, anyone?

By Courtney Thompson

When it comes to home décor, I’m all about seating. The more, the better. If there’s a blank wall, I’ll forgo a banquet or side table in favor of a few poufs or an arm chair. Which is why I loooove me a bar cart. A roving table on wheels, a bar cart is the most functional piece of furniture on the market, because it can easily transition from room to room, indoors to outdoors.

That’s right, no heavy lifting (Remember: Most have wheels!), no investing in a table for every room. The bar cart covers all of your entertaining bases for you, while offering more of what everyone needs … counter and storage space! Perfect for outdoor entertaining — yup, you can set up a bar in your driveway and move it to the backyard as the night progresses — bar carts are equally versatile indoors, whether you want to a Bloody Mary bar in your kitchen for Sunday brunch, or a martini bar in your dining room for a dinner party.

Fill ’er up with ice buckets, shakers, platters, glasses and garnishes. The hardest part is choosing which style to splurge on. Personally, I love the all-weather teak and wicker options below, but all 12 would look just as refined outdoors as they would in.

Shop all of the bar carts below.

Oceanport Teak Bar Cart

Small enough to be dainty, but with two serving areas and three bottle holders, this cart will still be a lifesaver at your next party.

Gray All Weather Wicker Pinamar Outdoor Rolling Bar Cart

If you just splurged on a wicker outdoor set, guess what? This will match perfectly.

Benjamin Bar Cart

Pretty enough for your office ... but thanks to its durable mahogany composition, heavy-duty enough for the year-round outdoor entertaining.

Pacifica Bar Cart

It was love at first sight with this gorgeous navy Serena & Lily bar cart (it also comes in cream!). Comprised of all-weather wicker, this piece will add a refined look to your patio ... or your entryway.

Kayle Bar Cart

Contemporary and cute! Perfect for your apartment living room — just push it onto your balcony when the weather warms up.

Teak Bar Cart

Two words: Mac Daddy. Yup, this is the big kahuna of outdoor bar carts, which makes sense since Frontgate specializes in all things big kahuna. We love the sliding serving panels that reveal a built-in beverage tub and ice bucket. This cart feels fancy ... because it is.

Cloninger Bar Cart

Made of wood and acrylic, this petite cart is perfect for a modern aesthetic.

Capella Island Collection Sand Serving Cart

Tequila time! If this cart doesn't scream beach party, we don't know what does.

Mccarley Aluminum 3 Shelf Bar Serving Cart

An elevated take on the farmhouse aesthetic that everyone is clammoring for, this cart is less rustic and more polished, thanks to its aluminum and wood combo. Much bigger than most carts, this one has three ample shelves that are each nearly four-feet long.

Jessica Rustic Industrial Style Bar Cart

Can't get enough of the farmhouse chic look? This rustic cart mixes distressed wood with a metal frame that is simple yet modern in it's design.

Aguila Bar Cart

Lacking storage? This sleek cart has got your back, with capacity for eight glasses, four bottles and four serving shelves.

Keane Storage Cart

Perfect for your kids' playroom, your office or, yes, the dining room, this bar cart is super versatile thanks to its super minimalist style.
