So Many Celebs Were Wearing Glossier's New Eyeshadow at the Oscars

The stars were all aglow at the 2018 Oscars, and that's not just because several of them wore sparkling metallic gowns. (We see you, J-Law and Gal Gadot!) Here's the secret: While we were pouring champagne and printing out our Oscar ballots before the show, our favorite celebrities were sitting down with top makeup artists to have their lids dusted with a brand new eye shadow from cult-favorite beauty brand Glossier. 

The Lidstar shadow is officially available to shop today, but it's already been making the round at star-studded events. First, Beyoncé wore the creamy shadow to the 2018 Grammys. (Not a bad way to make a debut, even if the product was hiding behind shades.)

Then, several more stars wore the product at Hollywood's biggest awards ceremony. Everyone from Tiffany Haddish to Allison Janney and Greta Gerwig wore a swipe of Lidstar on the red carpet. So, what makes the product an instant classic? 

First of all, it's Glossier. Practically anything the brand puts out gets an instant cult following, and that's because its products are effective, affordable, and almost eerily tuned into what beauty buffs want. (A balm that does pretty much everything? Done! The only product you need for perfect-looking brows? Check!)

Haddish, Gerwig, and Janney all wore the opalescent "Moon" hue, mixed with other shades. 

Haddish also wore the gold-green "Herb."

Gerwig's look blended "Moon" with the sheer, baby-pink "Slip." 

Gerwig also wore the warm rose-gold "Cub."  

Best Supporting Actress winner Janney wore the smoky taupe shade "Fawn" in in addition to "Moon." The Lidstar hues can each be worn on their own, or you can opt to wear one shade on the inner corners of your eyes and another one on the outer corners.
