Ayesha Curry Shares the Best Tips She Uses to Style Her Daughters' Curly Hair

To say that Ayesha Curry has her plate full these days is an understatement. Currently, the 28-year-old, who is married to Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry, balances an abundance of titles including: professional cook, author, star of Food Network series Ayesha's Home Kitchen, entrepreneur, and new ambassador for Covergirl. Talk about a mouthful. In addition to that list, Curry is also the mom of two beautiful little girls: Riley and Ryan.  

As one of the new faces of Covergirl’s #IAmWhatIMakeUp campaign, Curry not only gets to live out a dream, but it has also allowed her to set an example for her 2-year-old and 5-year-old. "I want them to know that doing what makes them feel best is always what’s most important," she told Most Wanted. Curry wants teaches her girls, "they don’t need makeup to make them feel beautiful, but they can use it as a form of self-expression and art." And that they can use it, "however the heck they want to use it."

Motherhood has also helped her gain a few beauty tips and tricks of her own — especially when it comes to styling her daughters’ curly hair. The super mom shared that moisturizing is a very important part of her girls’ hair routines — but she is very cautious about which products she uses on them.

Curry revealed that she the only haircare brand she trusts to put on Riley and Ryan’s hair is Cantu Kids. "I love it. It makes their hair soft, it smells good, it holds the curl, it gets rid of the frizz —and I know that what I’m putting on them is safe, so that’s been key for me."

As for her preferred styling technique, Curry always put her daughters' hair in twists come wash day. "It helps me because it saves time and I’m not here having to comb out the knots [the following morning]," she shared.
