John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Luna on Tour: Inside Their Luxe (But Charming!) Homes Away From Home
They're just ordinary people...
When you're traveling with wee ones, the comforts of home are key. And that's why John Legend's "Darkness and Light" tour brought his family, including Chrissy Teigen and baby Luna, on a tour of some of the country's most gracious homes.
Yes, in three cities — Nashville, Seattle, and Kansas City — the famous fam stayed in Airbnb listings that were at once sprawling and charming.
In Seattle, the family stayed in a sweet three-bedroom and three-bathroom home over 4,500 square feet, with postcard-like views of the city. (Hello, Space Needle!)
Think a master bedroom with two en suites, as well as rare purple marble details, all on a pretty tree-lined street.
The property goes for around $720 per night.
The family's Nashville home is well located near Music Circle, an historic and newly remodeled manse available for about $1,600 nightly.
Substantial in size, with room for 12, but not at all stuffy, bright pops of color decorate the home.
But the pièce de résistance of the family trip was their Kansas City, Missouri home... with a price tag around $10,000 per night!
Think tons of privacy, and an outdoor kitchen as well as resort-style pool. Overall, the home has five bedrooms and 5.5 baths.
Airbnb gifted the properties to the fam, as we know from John's disclosure on Instagram.
And it's hardly the first time the home-rental site has made such an arrangement with celebrities — far from it.
As part of the booking site's high-profile celebrity marketing strategy, the company regularly works with stars for bookings, like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's $30 million NYC listing, Mariah Carey’s $60 million rental in Italy, or Britney Spears’ $30 million place in Malibu, Lady Gaga's $20 million Super Bowl rental, and Drake's Beverly Hills crash pad that rents for a cool $10,000 nightly.
