David: This Time Around, It Was My Turn to Take a Risk
David discusses why he decided to take on such a risky deal.
When dealing with high-end real estate, it's not uncommon for a client to remain anonymous, but it most certainly makes the job a whole lot more difficult. In this instance, it required me to look for a very specific, but very diverse, range of properties in the hopes that one of them would fit the bill. I went with three amazing, but very different, houses. Jonathan was rather stoic, which made it unbelievably difficult to read him...let alone IMPRESS him. The irony of James inquiring about our new client was that I actually had no damn clue who our new client was!
Following the showings, I had no idea whether or not I'd ever see Jonathan again, let alone that I'd end up selling all three properties. This time around, it was my turn to take a risk and agree to a crazy deal without James' consent. Selling three homes for $16.25 million, requiring over $200k discounts on each, is most certainly a risk. I was so thankful that James put our spat aside and helped me make this deal happen. I couldn't have done it without him. This sale was unprecedented for us, and it is PROOF of what #BondStPartners are capable of accomplishing when we work together.
While selling three homes in one day for a sum of over $16 million is an incredible feat, perhaps the most pivotal moment of this entire episode was the magnificent photoshoot Maxi and Bella had! I am very lucky to have such wonderful pups and even luckier to have such a supportive business partner.
