David: I Think Josh Was Threatened

David talks about getting creative with the Sunset Plaza listing, and why the dinner would have been perfect had it not been for Altman.

Altman Can't Help Himself

What a remarkable listing to kick off this season with--30 days and one chaotic dinner party, organized with the help of my beloved Bassets, Maxi and Bella!

The Sunset Plaza Drive property has amazing views and really is the perfect bachelor pad! However, as with most listings, James and I needed to be creative as the owner, Matt, did not allow us to hold any open houses.

Having our hands tied, as well as only having a 30-day listing, is not the ideal position to be in. However, we needed to make the most of it, and the "outside the box" twilight dinner party was a great start...At least until Josh Altman decided to show up!

Realistically, it would have been the perfect home for Rob, but instead of giving us the sale AND making his client happy, Altman had to antagonize us. #BondStPartners takes pride in accurately assessing a property's value, and listing it as such. For Altman to show up with a pocket full of paperwork and declare, in front of potential buyers, that we hadn't done our homework was uncalled for and childish. Not only did we have the ability to provide his client with a great home, but we hosted a brilliant dinner party…and I think Josh was threatened by that.

Most importantly, this season marks a new chapter in my life as Adrian and I begin to build a home together. I am so excited to embark on this new adventure with her, and of course with Maxi and Bella. My poor pups have been feeling a bit neglected recently, but I will for sure be making up for this! Stay tuned!
