Caroline: This Is Only the Beginning for Lauren and Vito
Caroline Manzo dishes on Lauren's beauitful wedding, Chris' new book, and Albie's relationship with Brittany.
Hello again! Long time, no speak; I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful fall weather! Fall is my favorite time of year, the air is always crisp and the trees are beautiful. I've got so much to talk about, but I will try to condense my thoughts so we don't have a run on blog. No one likes a run on blog!
Italy was everything I hoped it would be and more. The Scalia's are a wonderful family having embraced Lauren, welcoming her into their family whole-heartedly with no reservations at all. This makes me happy as I've always wished that whomever my children marry that they are loved as much by their in laws as they are loved by us. Lauren has accomplished that, good for her. Vito has accomplished that too, we love him very much and are happy to have welcomed him into our family.
Albert was very emotional in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding and I believe many of you were surprised to see that side of him. I've said it many times that Albert is a big teddy bear with a kind heart. I love that you were able to share his journey with him. Lauren is certainly a daddy's girl and as you've watched their relationship over the past couple of weeks I'm sure you'd agree that Al wouldn't have it any other way. As an extra FYI, Lauren hasn't used the AMEX card at all since she's been married. The card has since expired and the new one sits on my dresser waiting to be claimed by its owner.
Christopher is an author!!!!! Follow your dreams everyone, I watched Chris pursue one of his and watched it come true. Holding the cover of Oliver Brightside, You Don't Want That Penny was amazing. I will never forget his smile as he watched me unroll it from its packaging. Christopher's book is now available for pre-sale on amazon.com!!!! I can't wait for March when the book is on the shelves in bookstores everywhere. Don't be surprised if you see a crazy little red head taking photos of her son's book in every bookstore throughout the country!
As a side note, I refuse to believe that Christopher will be content living his life alone. He has too much spirit for that.
To be continued...
Speaking of living your life alone Albie has left his relationship with Brittany behind and has moved on. Let me be clear on one thing; I wasn't thrilled with Brittany when I first met her because of the way she presented herself. As I got to know her I realized she was a nice girl that probably would be better suited with someone other than Albie. They had two different ideas on what they wanted for themselves and each other so they parted ways. I wish her well and I'm sure that both Albie and Brittany will find their perfect match in due time.
Wedding bells have rung and my little girl is married!!!! The wedding was amazing and Lauren looked like a living, breathing princess. She danced until the wee hours of the morning never taking that beautiful smile off her face. I couldn't have wished for a better day for her and Vito. They are currently living at home with Al and me but are actively looking for a house. I'm excited to see what the future has in store for them; they are a perfect match and good for each other. This is only the beginning for them!
Thank you so much for watching Manzo'd this season. It means the world to me!!! I hope to see you soon!!!!
