Caroline: Gloating Is Not How We Operate
Caroline explains why she didn't tell Albie "I told you so."
I’d like to thank everyone for watching Manzo’d with Children over the past few weeks. We greatly appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed the show! I hope you laughed along with us as the show was intended to make you smile as you look into our crazy world.
What did you think of Albie’s tattoo? I loved the sentiment behind it, but I have to be honest: I’m not that into the idea of marking your body for life. I know so many people that have gotten tattoos that they now regret. I like the placement of it and the thought behind it, so I suppose two out of three ain’t bad. Bottom line is that Albie is happy with it and that’s that.
I bet you all were waiting for me to say I told you so when Albie broke up with Brittany, right? I would never say that. I want my kids to be happy, and I will always tell them the truth when I’m asked my opinion, but the decisions they make are all their own. Gloating is not the way we operate. Relationships come and go, but I’d like to think that whether the experience is good or bad you could always learn and grow from it. That’s what I was trying to convey to Albie: Don’t think of the breakup as a personal failure, because life is full of trials and accomplishments. You have to roll with the punches and celebrate the victories.

We’re still working on my barbeque sauce. I’ll let you know when it hits the shelves, rib-holding pic and all. I absolutely love Adam Padilla from Brandfire. He is a super talented guy with a great sense of humor. He knew that I was uncomfortable with the whole process and made it so easy for me to deliver a label that not only speaks for the product, but also makes me smile every time I see it! He also designed Albie’s tattoo. You should check him out on Instagram and Twitter. His work is amazing.

I can’t believe Al and I have been married 30 years. It seems like only yesterday when we went on our first date. We’ve gone through so much together. Through good times and bad, we have been a constant in each others' hearts and built a wonderful life together with three great kids. I wouldn’t change a thing. What better way to celebrate our anniversary than spending the day on our boat eating sandwiches we made at home.
I loved the photo the kids gave me, and Lauren's card was hysterical. I don’t even know what to say about the piñatas. Only Christopher would think of something like that!
That’s it for now, everyone. Eight episodes have come and gone. Thank you again for watching. It means the world to us!
