Selena Gomez's New Super Long Hair Is Giving Us Selena Quintanilla Flashbacks
Out with the blonde bob, in with waist-length mane.
When the rest of us make a drastic hair change, we usually have to live with it for awhile. That's obviously not the case with Selena Gomez: she recently went platinum blonde then back to her roots ASAP. Now, the singer is swapping out the lob she's worn in the past for epic long locks — and bangs too.
Ahh, the magic of being a star (and probably extensions)! Gomez showed up for Coach's New York Fashion Week runway yesterday show with hair almost down to her waist and some side-swept fringe. Her hair stylist captioned a picture of Gomez on Instagram: "Looking a lot like Selena Quintanilla today.....who else agrees?!"
No word yet whether these bangs are the real deal, or this will be like Rosie Huntington-Whitely's disappearing bangs from earlier this week.
One thing seems sure: there are more Selena x Coach collabs in the works. After designing bags for the NYC fashion house this summer, Gomez let the cat out of the bag on Instagram Stories about what else is in store for her brand ambassador gig with Coach. "I might get in trouble for saying this but I’m doing some really, really cool stuff with Coach," she said, according to Elle. "It’s coming!"
