Jessica Simpson Shares a True "Woke Up Like This" Makeup-Free Selfie
The pop singer says "good morning" without a stitch of makeup.
Jessica Simpson seems totally fearless when it comes to opening up her world to her followers on Instagram. She posts about working out in glitter sunglasses and her mom-and-daughter shopping trips to MAC — even though some of her most innocuous posts lead to mean attacks by trolls.
But the singer-turned-fashion-designer is still willing to share both the glam and so-normal aspects of her life. Case in point? She just posted a makeup-free selfie that is the definition of "I woke up like this." We mean that literally: It looks like she rolled over and grabbed her phone and took a photo, no makeup, no nice lighting, nothing.
"Good morning," Simpson wrote in her caption, with glowy bare skin (and nice to know that even celebs sleep in hoodies sometimes, very relatable!). Gotta agree with one commenter, who sent this message to Simpson: "You are so beautiful au naturel ... no makeup needed .. ever."
