Ladies of London's Marissa Hermer Needs Our Help With Her New Doodle Puppy
We can't let this new dog mama down!
Like many mothers, Marissa Hermer suffered from amnesia related to the amount of work necessary to take care of a newborn. She does have three human children (Max, Jake and Sadie) but they are already out of that baby stage. So, when she recently adopted a Berndoodle — a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle — named Rocket, she realized she's a bit out of her element and needs our help.
Much like a newborn, Rocket is keeping Marissa up ALL. NIGHT. LONG. In a recent Instagram story, she showed a screenshot of her alarm set for 2am, 5am and 6:45am — presumably to walk Rocket. Oy vey! We feel your pain, Marissa! Puppy training is no walk in the park!
Fortunately, Marissa knows whom to turn to for advice. “ATTN: Dog People,” she wrote underneath the photograph of the alarms. “Send me your puppy training tips (and also remind me how to get through the day with a newborn…)”
Ok, first, sleep when they sleep. Just kidding, as any mother knows, that advice is garbage. If you do have tips, however, DM her on Instagram! Marissa wants to learn from those who have done it before.
Beyond the insane sleep schedule, Rocket seems to be settling in nicely with the family, who relocated from London to Los Angeles after the last season of Ladies of London. He’s already been to his first vet appointment — and even better, he’s already become acquainted with Snapchat filters. No doubt, he’ll soon have an account of his own, and a loyal following.
Good luck, Hermer family. You got this. We promise you.
