Take A Dating Diet
Patti Stranger on the benefits of dating breaks.
To Patti, Hiya Patti, I love this blog and I love Kathy. If you ever hit West Palm Beach you know you've got some girls to kick it with! I'm writing in cause after a pretty eventful couple of months of dating I'm really getting discouraged. After going out with some really cute guys (who had a little extra change in their pockets) it seems like the river's run bare and my last couple dates especially were really a waste of time. It's not good when the meal is what you remember most about a night out. Right now I just want to kick it my friends cause I hate the highs and lows of the dating scene so I'm wondering...do you ever feel burned out on love? Fawn (who's fed up) West Palm Beach, FL
Dear Fed Up (Fawn), Take a dating diet! Breaks are great. They give the body, mind and spirit time to realign. Make a deal with yourself that you'll go 60 days without dating anyone.
Celebrity or not...being single SUCKS. Dating, on the other hand...well, dating can suck too. I promise that great men will show up within that time (just like junk food shows up when you're on a diet), and you may get your best offer yet -- they'll just have to wait!
Also - EXERCISE...it kicks the endorphins in, making you feel happy -- remember, men are drawn to women that are happy and relaxed...hit the gym!
xoxo
