When Kathy's father died there was an outpouring of supportive notes on her website from fans who felt moved by his life and saddened by his passing. Kathy shared many of these notes with her mother, who was also very moved by what was written.

As for the conversation about "flicking" in the car...people often ask if Kathy is just as funny and sharp off camera as she is on. Yes, absolutely. She's naturally hysterical and you're talking to her one-on-one as opposed to seeing her perform for a sold-out arena.
