Watch Jennifer Lawrence Lead a Rousing Eagles Chant on a Super Bowl Sunday Flight (VIDEO)
"Fly, Eagles, fly!"
It's no secret who Jennifer Lawrence was rooting for on Super Bowl Sunday. The Passengers star was flying commercial on Game Day but didn't let that stop her from showing team spirit — nope, she actually hopped on the flight attendants' intercom and led a Philadelphia Eagles chant.
Speaking into the loud speaker, J-Law told her fellow passengers, "Everybody, this is not the pilot speaking. This is Jennifer Lawrence. It’s February 4th, Super Bowl Sunday, and we all know what that means."
Then, in a way only an Oscar-winning actor could, she roused the entire plane, saying, "Can I please get a ‘fly eagles fly’? Fly, eagles fly! Fly eagles fly!"
Of course, most of the plane followed suit. A video featuring the amazing stunt in its entirety, embedded below, shows those seated in coach were particularly feeling J-Law's infectious, football-loving vibes.
Her moment was fleeting, however, because eventually a flight attendant enters the frame, ending the Hollywood A-lister's takeover.
One coach passenger in particular told People that "there were a few cheers" following Lawrence's loudspeaker interruption.
They told the magazine, "She went back to her seat and that was it. Everyone seemed fine as it was like, pretty quick... It was just like a fun, spontaneous chant by Jennifer Lawrence that we definitely appreciated. I think everyone just went along with it, since flights are so boring."
And considering the Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl, maybe this was their good luck charm?
