The photo above perfectly encapsulates the differences between the Girlfriends' personal style. Delia is always dressed up, even when she's not, Jo is cool and comfy at all time, and Phoebe is a mix of feminine and Bohemian. We asked Costume Designer Cynthia Summers to tell us about each piece from the ladies' shopping scene.
Phoebe
Summers paired a multi-colored Dries van Noten dress with a black leather Allsaints jacket. The western style ankle booties are by Golden Goose, and the red suede fringe bag is from Maje. For jewelry, Summers turned to Etsy, where she found the Ronibiza earrings. The turquoise ring is by Lisa Flanders, the cuffs are by Robyn Rhodes, and the horn is a Swarofsky necklace by Mikal Wynn.
Jo
For Jo, Summer went with a "wet look" romper by Guess and sky-high black ankle booties by Gianvito Rossi. The earrings are by Henri Bendel, and the leopard print bag is by Kooples.
Delia
Delia's bright orange with white leather strap sheath is by Victoria Beckham. The lawyer who can't get enough expensive shoes is wearing Jimmy Choos and a winter white bag by Michael Kors. As for jewelry, her faux horn cuff is by Pono, and her earrings are by Konplot. Summers said the designer lent a huge grouping of mostly earrings for the season, and they're worn exclusively by Delia.
