Mai recommends this sheer eye shadow to get a slightly defined eye without all the effort. "One color over the lid, from lash line to crease, is all you need," says Quynh. "Remember to give some detail to lashes with a coat of mascara for definition around the eyes." The shadow comes in a variety of colors but Ballet Pink, Bone, and shore are great neutral colors.

Let's be real: For those on the paler side, going blush-free just isn't an option. But instead of fussing with powders and messy pots of cream, Quynh suggests this blush stick. "They can perk up anyone's face and leave a beautiful flush on the cheeks. The satiny formula sets into a semi-matte finish." Apply on the apples of the cheeks and blend for best results.
