After Surgery Scare, Chef Tracey Bloom Shares Her Favorite “Super Easy” Healthy Recipe
The Don't Be Tardy culinary whiz just inspired us to eat our greens.
Chef Tracey Bloom is celebrating a clean bill of health with fresh and healthy foods. After Don't Be Tardy's resident culinary pro underwent surgery for an oophorectomy (the removal of one or both ovaries), she's back in the kitchen and cooking up lean and green eats. Plus, she's sharing her recipes!
In a February 27 Instagram post, the Bravo's Top Chef alum shared a photo of what she had cooking. "My favorite grilled Brussel sprouts!!!!" she wrote. "Super easy just [extra virgin olive oil] salt and pepper and a grill pan. I love my grill pan. How do you feel about brussel sprouts????"
Well, since you asked, Tracey, we love them! And of course, we also love that they're rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and may even help protect against cancer. (Thank you, Healthline.) They look vibrant and fresh, too:
If Tracey is looking to add more veggies to her diet, she's in good company with the Biermann clan. Kim Zolciak-Biermann stays away from red meat and isn't even feeling chicken these days, and Kroy Biermann has some vegetarian-friendly barbecue tricks up his sleeve. And of course, the family will do whatever they can to help their good bud feel her very best.
After Tracey's surgery, Brielle Biermann told The Daily Dish: "She's being healthier. It's all about a lifestyle change, I feel like. So she's going through that right now, and she's handling it very well."
