Elegant and Kid-Friendly?

Tish and Brandi Cyrus had two very different ideas on how to approach the challenge of making their client's home elegant and kid-friendly. Here's a closer look at the designs they pitched their clients.

Tish's Design Ideas

Tish wanted a light, bright bathroom for her clients with hand-painted gold designs on the walls.

While Tish ended up with one gray couch and four comfy chairs, the original pitch was for two blue sofas.

Here's another look at the living room with the refurbished mid-century chairs.

Tish had these chairs sitting around in storage and gave them a fresh kid-friendly linen covering.

Tish wanted this wood panel to bring warmth into the living room.

Brandi's Design Ideas

While Tish wanted something bright, Brandi opted for a darker, moodier bathroom option.

The clients were worried about the white linen couches getting dirty.

Here's the wood panel again, this time with some added home accessories.

The different textures add more depth to the room.

To the right is the simplified fireplace that the clients ended up going with.

We know the clients went with Brandi idea in this episode, but which designer would you have chosen? Vote in our poll below.
