Parents aren't the only ones getting choked up on the first day...
For some students, like Kim Zolciak-Biermann's son KJ and Joyce Giraud's son Leo, school is already back in session. And that means there are mixed feelings for both parents and children. That roller coaster of emotion was on display this week during a KTLA news broadcast out of Los Angeles, when a reporter asked four-year-old Andrew Macias about his first day of pre-kindergarten. This instantly viral star won us over by showing the full range of feelings he had about his own personal milestone.
At first, he was pretty excited to go to class. But then when asked if he'd miss his mom, well, that was a different story. He confidently said yes, before breaking down into tears. Check out the full moment below (and try not to cry yourself!).
