The Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes struggled with some health issues late last year, and was diagnosed as having blood clots in her lungs. But you can't keep a good woman down, and NeNe is assuring everyone she will be just fine when she makes her debut on Dancing With The Stars on March 17.

"It is a really grueling schedule, and I don't feel like anybody needs to worry about my health," she told The Insider. "I'm doing what I'm supposed to be do, I've been cleared by my doctor, I'm on a daily medication." Sounds like her healthy lifestyle is here to stay.

But she's going to be facing some pretty stiff competition. Other stars gracing the ballroom this season include pop singer Cody Simpson, actor-singer James Maslow, Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, The Price is Right host and comic Drew Carey, The Wonder Years' Danica McKellar, swimming legend Diana Nyad, snowboarding champ Amy Purdy, NHL star (and fashion enthusiast) Sean Avery, actor Billy Dee Williams, and Olympic ice dancing stunners Charlie White and Meryl Davis. Luckily, NeNe will be pairing up with season 15 all-stars champion, Tony Dovolani.

NeNe isn't the first Housewife to compete on DWTS, as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills's Lisa Vanderpump competed in Season 16 (until her infamous faint). So as a former contestant who had her share of health-related issues, the queen of SUR shared some sage advice and well wishes for Atlanta's finest.

After acknowledging the good and the bad, Lisa (naturally) ended the note in a positive and supportive manner. "All in all, it's the most fantastic experience of a lifetime," she wrote. "I will be sending you love and cheering you on. Bring the glitter ball home to Bravo! You go girl, get your jive on!"
