What Does Kenya Think of NeNe's Broadway Gig?
The RHOA star weighs in on her role as Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella.
As many RHOA fans know, Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes haven't always been besties on the show. So when the New York Post caught up with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya, she offered up her own take on the recent news that NeNe has been cast to play the Wicked Stephmother in Broadway's Cinderella.
"I think it's perfect casting, I do," she shared while in NYC for Fashion Week. She added, "I don't have a relationship with NeNe. NeNe is on an island by herself somewhere with her attitude."
Not long after the interview hit the 'net, NeNe shared this mysterious tweet with her followers without elaborating further: "Some people want a response but they will NEVER get it! #dreamon."
NeNe will kick off her run as the wicked stepmother Madame in Cinderella on November 25. She's taking over for former The View co-host Sherri Shepherd before the show has its final curtain call on January 3. KeKe Palmer currently stars as the musical's namesake.
"It's official! I am headed 2 BROADWAY CINDERELLA Nov 25th. Ain't God good 2 a little black girl from Athens Ga," NeNe previously tweeted about the casting news.
It marks the latest acting gig for the Bravo star and fashion mogul. She previously appeared on Glee and The New Normal and got some stage experience this summer in Las Vegas in Cirque du Soleil's production of Zumanity.
