Vicki Shares Update on Her New Grandson
Exclusive: she also jokes that his brother Troy "doesn't like him yet!"
Vicki Gunvalson has plenty to celebrate this summer: a new book, the hunt for a home, and the arrival of her second grandson Owen.
So what's life like for her daughter Briana and son-in-law Ryan, who are currently living in Oklahoma? And how's the new guy adapting to life?
"He's a couple weeks old now," she tells the Dish. "I was there for the delivery. Briana is doing good. She's having a tough time without her mama there but I'm trying to get her back to California for a few weeks and to get her back with family, friends and the atmosphere. But she's not ready to get on a plane just yet."
Vicki adds that Owen is cute as a button. "He's little!" she says. "He's like a little peanut!"
Owen may be an irresistible baby—but not everyone is taking a liking to him. "[His brother] Troy doesn't really like him yet!" Vicki says with a laugh. "Troy is 19 months. He gave him a toy car yesterday and that was his first interaction, like, 'If you're going to stick around, you have to play cars!' He doesn't really get why the baby is here."
Though Briana may be half-way across the country, Vicki is keeping busy at home. She's currently on the hunt for a new home. "I'm just ready for a change," she told the Dish earlier this week. "My whole theory is when life changes, you have to change everything."
She is happy to report that she's already found a new property. "It's in Dana Point," she says, adding that it has a 180-degree ocean view and sits on top of a hill. "It's gorgeous!"
